Blackberry Desktop Manager problems

Blackberry Desktop Manager version 6.0 has just been released.  It seems to be incompatible with some add-in programs, including CompanionLink (used for synchronisation with ACT!) and some backup software.  If you can avoid taking the upgrade, you can continue using Desktop Manager version 5 until the add-ins you use have been updated to suit.  If you have already upgraded to Desktop Manager version 6, then in order to keep using your add-ins yuou need to uninstall it and re-load version 5.  You can download the previous version of Blackberry Desktop Manager here

Update 20 August 2010.  CompanionLink have released version 4 of their product - see this link.  This is said to be compatible with Blackberry Desktop Manager version 6.0.
